You’ve heard about ¹Kangen Water™. But you haven’t heard this…
Are you thinking of spending over $4000 for a Kangen Water™ Machine (or Miracle Water Machine, as they’re sometimes called) from the ¹Enagic™ company?
DON’T DO IT.
Here’s what I know…
There Really Is a Major ‘Kangen Water™’ Rip-Off Going On.
Now, What Do I Mean By The Words Scam and Rip-Off?
When I say rip-off or scam, I mean that Kangen Water™ Machines are EXTREMELY OVER-PRICED to their competitors. I consider them to be over-priced because they’re nothing more than water ionizers, and numerous competitors sell water ionizers that have been tested to perform similarly to the Kangen Water™ Machines, but at less than half the price! Enagic™ has a commission structure which raises the cost of each machine significantly, and some salesmen claim to be making thousands and thousands of dollars on passive commissions alone, while hardly doing any work!
Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything. But FIRST you should know something else…
Right now you can buy a machine that produces at least as effective results (and that I personally believe is more user-friendly) for less than 1/2 the price of a “Kangen Water™” machine produced by the Enagic™ company, the leading seller of Water Ionizers in America.
Don’t worry, I’ll explain everything by the end of this article.
But first…
Why Do I Care?
Good question. I’m in perfect health, but I first heard of “Kangen Water™” from my parents.
My parents started drinking “Kangen” and felt the positive health benefits immediately. They were buying their ionized water by the gallon from one of these Enagic™ dealers when they let me know that they were looking into purchasing a machine through him.
They told me all about how their arthritis had practically disappeared, how it was a joy to wake up in the morning with extra energy, etc.
They told me that in the past year, this man had earned over $100,000 from “Kangen Water™” commissions alone - his side business!
Good business, huh? You bet.
Obviously, I was thrilled that my parents were feeling positive health benefits. But before they attended a Kangen information session and invested something like $4000 in a machine, I wanted to make sure they were getting a fair deal.
So, I Did Some Research For My Parents…
And I found some VERY interesting information online.
It’s out there for those who snoop around, but easily clouded by the overwhelming amounts of pro-Kangen web sites which are produced by these “Kangen” Dealers who are just out looking for a profit.
After sifting through a whole ton of Marketing and BS, I finally found a few sources of quality information.
And I came to the conclusion… that Kangen Dealers are ripping people off.
Wanna know how? Let’s start with a little history…
What is “Kangen Water™?”
“Kangen Water™” has been recently popularized in the USA by the company Enagic™. The word Kangen means “Return to Origin” in Japanese, and it’s just a marketing term. “Kangen Water™” is actually a registered trademark of the Enagic™ Corporation as of August 2005.
The common name for a “Kangen Water™” machine is “Water Ionizer.”
I suppose that doesn’t sound as alluring as the word Kangen. So they made a new name for it, but don’t be fooled. “Kangen Water™” is electrolyzed water, commonly referred to as “Ionized Water.” There are many companies competing to produce the best Water Ionizer, and Enagic™ is only one of them.
More About Enagic™…
Obviously, Enagic™ is very good at marketing. In fact, they are a “Multi-Level Marketing” company, which is quite similar to a Pyramid Scheme.
Don’t believe me? Here’s a screen shot of one of their sales pages that I found from a distributor online. It’s a diagram of their commission structure:
Looks like a pyramid to me, eh?
What you have to realize is that with their 8-point commission structure comes a nasty price markup.. Like, possibly over $2000 in straight commissions for every machine sold at retail price. Yeah, nasty.
You see, if Jane sells a machine to Tom, and then Tom sells a machine to Joan, then Joan sells a machine to poor old Margaret… what happens is, Jane, Tom AND Joan could all earn a few hundred dollars EACH off the machine that Margaret buys. And that’s only with 3 steps… Enagic™ has 8 STEPS!
It’s an insane markup. Ridiculous. Crazy. A Ripoff!
So What Can We Do About It??
Well, start by warning your friends. That’s the reason I made this site.
The last thing you want to do is see your friends lining the pockets of these “Kangen Water™” Dealers…
Tell everybody you know!
“But I Still Want a Water Ionizer…”
Of course you do! And you should! They work amazingly well!
That’s why people are actually WILLING to spend $4000 on a machine, and they don’t complain. Because these machines are truly worth even MORE…
But the best part is this…
Get ready for it…
You can get a better water ionizer than the one Enagic™ is selling, and it only costs $1695.
Seriously.
It’s called the KYK Genesis Water Ionizer.
No creative multi-level-marketing scheme, no pyramids… Just a machine that works, selling at a competitive price like all the other regular products out there.
It’s the one I bought. The one I’ll be writing about using right here on this blog. I trust it, and I trust the company that shipped it to me. I’ve even spoken a few times with the site’s owner, Alderin Ordell.
I think it’s the best investment I’ve ever made, and I fully encourage you to try it. If you’re not sure, there’s a 60-day money-back guarantee and you can send it right back.
I do want people to buy Water Ionizers, and I want them to be used on a daily basis. I’ve seen the benefits, and I want others to know about them as well. I just don’t want people to pay an unreasonable price to shady marketers…
So, check out the alternative – The KYK Genesis Water Ionizer.
**UPDATE** For the 2010 New Year, there is now a special KYK Genesis sale going on at www.WaterForLifeUSA.com! For the next week or so, if you buy a KYK Genesis they’ll take 15% off if you enter the coupon code “wfl15″ (without quotes) at checkout! This is about $300 in savings! So if you’re going to buy, be sure to do it in the next week! You can read more details about the KYK Genesis Sale, or just Get Your Machine Now!
Still think that Enagic™’s Machine Might Be Higher Quality?
Well, let me add one final note. KYK used to produce a machine called the KYK Harmony Ionizer, which is no longer sold because it’s been replaced by the KYK Genesis. However, they did a direct comparison of that older machine with the “Kangen Water™” Ionizer which you can find here – A direct comparison of the two machines. As you can see, they stacked up quite evenly.
Now, I find that comparison to be quite convincing in itself. But when you consider that the New 7-Plate KYK Genesis machine puts that older machine out to pasture, you’ll hopefully realize that you’re going to get the best ionizer on the market for a very reasonable price.
Just do me a favor, and don’t let Enagic™ rip you or your friends off.

I WAS ABOUT TO PURCHASE ONE FOR 4K AND WITH A BIT OF RESEARCH ONLINE FOUND YOUR SITE. THANKS FOR THE EYE OPENING TIPS. THAT DOES NOT MEAN I WILL BUY THE MACHINE YOU SUGGESTED BUT IT MEANS I WILL DO EVEN MORE RESEARCH NOW THAT I HAVE SOME FACTS.
THANKS AGAIN
how can you get better results if the genesis uses half the electricity to ionize the water than the kangen machine, it doesnt make sense. what happens after the five years is up? do i have to buy another new one? how much are your filters and how often do they need replaced. does your machine make acid water? thanks
Laurnece –
The Genesis uses an SMPS power supply which is newer technology than a transformer. They use it in a lot of flat screen TV’s, for instance. It’s more efficient – read this wikipedia article to learn more. Also, since transformers tend to get very hot while running for longer periods of time, they reduce the life-span of the machine. That’s not an issue with SMPS.
The five years is in regards to the warranty alone. If certain parts should break down in the first 5 years, KYK will replace them. The water ionizer should hopefully last you much longer than that, and no you don’t have to buy another one.
There are two filters in the Genesis, which is another reason why it’s better – water is filtered through almost twice as many layers, which results in less contaminants in your water. The Carbon filter costs $64.99 and should be replaced after every 6,000 liters. The Specialized Media filter costs $74.99 and should be replaced after every 9,000 liters. The good thing about the Genesis is that it actually counts the liters for you as they’re poured out, and keeps track to alert you when a filter needs to be replaced. This is unlike the Enagic™ machine, which just uses a timer. So with the Genesis, if you’re using the machine less than the average, you won’t have to replace your filters as often. Or, if you use it more than average, you won’t be running on a worn-down filter.
The Genesis does make acid water, and in fact is able to reach more extreme pH levels than the Enagic™ machine due to its stronger power supply and slotted plate technology, which creates more surface area and thus a stronger ionization. With normal water, the Genesis can reach pH as low as 2.5 and as high as 11+, but the specific range you’ll be able to achieve depends on your particular water supply. But no matter what kind of water you have, the Genesis should be able to reach more extreme pH levels than Enagic™’s machine.
Hope that helped, let me know if you have any other questions.
I have a question. Since reverse osmosis removes chemicals (I.E. pharmaceuticals) and the filters in most of these devices don’t use that technology, how can we be sure we are drinking “healthy” water? Wouldn’t reverse osmosis and then adding minerals later be the healthiest answer?
I don’t care how alkaline my water is if it has drugs or other harmful contaminants in it.
I have been sampling the Enagic water for a few weeks, previously drinking RO. I have yet to make a decision and will attend an Enagic meeting tomorrow night. It seems funny to me that you claim to be the authority of what is right or wrong in this arena, considering the only thing you have to offer is finger-pointing. As a KYK sales pitch, I would be much more influenced by your company should you focus your efforts on highlighting what you do well, rather than revert to political-style smear tactics.
What do you suggest I ask the presenters at this meeting tomorrow? How can I sample KYK for a month for free to see if I want it in my body?
Barry – I like your thinking. That would be a reasonable solution, and maybe one day that will feasible for your average household, however the major factor holding us back is that reverse osmosis requires you to store water in advance, due to its very long filtration process. The fact is, the dual filters in the KYK Genesis are collectively one of the most advanced water filters you’ll be able to find anywhere. Considering that anything more advanced requires you to ration and store your water hours in advance makes it something I’d be less interested in, personally.
If you’re interested in reverse osmosis, I encourage you to look into it. Just know that without remineralizing and ionizing, the water coming directly out of that process will be highly acidic and not recommended for drinking.
Thanks for the comment, it’s an educated one that got me thinking!
John – I would be careful with the RO water, because as I mentioned in my last reply to Barry, RO water is quite acidic, and on top of that, studies have shown that over time, drinking water that lacks minerals causes mineral deficiencies. You can take mineral supplements, but it’s not quite the same. Natural water has always had minerals in it, since the dawn of time when we were drinking from streams and lakes, and those good minerals help to support our bodies. So keep that in mind!
You might be right about the finger-pointing, but if there’s ANYBODY who deserves to get a finger pointed at them, it’s Enagic™. Their business scheme is STEALING money from innocent people, and I can’t stand to see that happen. Consider my finger pointed.
If I wanted to do a full KYK sales pitch, I could. But this page is mainly about opening the eyes of people who don’t know there is a “Kangen Water™” alternative. I encourage them to do their own research. If they have questions, I’ll be glad to answer them here in the comments, but I didn’t want the article to get so long that people wouldn’t finish it, either.
If you want to see what KYK does well, and a more “pro-KYK” rather than “anti-Enagic™” pitch, go to the KYK website, where they sell you in great detail. That’s just not what this site was intended for.
As far as sampling KYK for a month, if you live nowhere near their Germantown, Maryland store location, there isn’t so easy of a solution. You can always order a Genesis machine with financing, try it for a month, and see if you like it. They offer a 60-day money back guarantee, so that will leave you plenty of time to send it back if you don’t like it. However, there is a 15% restocking fee. That’s the unfortunate thing about not paying a massive commission structure – less people are willing to run all around the country offering free samples. However, I assure you that the KYK’s alkaline water is better than the “Kangen Water™” because science backs it up in comparative tests of pH and ORP. As much as the Enagic™ people want you to believe their machine is a “miracle” and all their marketing BS, it’s really science, and KYK does it better.
As far as your meeting tomorrow, I’d ask them how much of each machine is paid out as commission… Then ask them why, when they’re charging so much for each machine, they haven’t come out with a model that can match the standards of the KYK Genesis, when it costs about $2300 less… That should get them nice and riled up. Also, ask them about the chemical components of the “electrolysis enhancer” their machine requires … when they tell you it’s a saline solution, ask if it’s OK to create your own with a simple salt + water combination. When they say no, wonder what other mystery chemicals are going into it. Finally, ask them why their machine requires an “electrolysis enhancer” at all, when top of the line machines (like the KYK Genesis and Tyent 7070) are able to reach more extreme pH and ORP levels without requiring that annoying and mysterious solution.
If you do ask those questions, let me know what they say. Thanks for your comment, and good luck.
i just don’t call this as a scam!!
i just feel the guy above is trying to sell his own product!
if u guys know what is alkaline water.. you would not call this as a scam…. look at all the health benefits that you get from drinking kangen water… something the guy above is not talking about. he has no idea about kangen water.. if you guys ask me…. i have been drinking kangen water for 3 years and i am more than happy with it..i really don’t care even if it would cost me 4000k..it is something that everyone must have in their house..yes its expensive but its like an anti virus for our body!!!!
Hi,
Great site! I only have one question,is the KYK Genesis UL certified?
Thanks,
JD
WTF!!!
I saw something like this on TV.
Is it really true?
Thanks for warning me.
I am looking at all the different machines that I can. I want quality and the initial price doesn’t matter that much as long as I feel it is a good deal for me and my family. I am a little unsettled by the hostility of this site and the proponent of the KYK Genesis. Why can’t all parties just produce what they do and what they have to offer and let those of us looking decide for ourselves. We know the difference between $2000 and $4000 without having to be lectured. What are the great benefits of your machine that would make me part with my money. AND, will you come out personally and train me how to sell this if I decide to do that or do I have to approach like you are to make any money?
Where’s the info on the monthly financing for this machine? I went to the website and saw nothing of the sort, just your standard ‘add to cart’ button and pay with a credit card option. ???
Thanks,
Holly
Ritesh – I have heard many wonderful things about the machines, and I even said that due to the amazing health benefits, their affects are probably worth more than $4000. But they simply don’t cost anywhere near that much to manufacture, so the price is a scam. I’m very happy that you’ve gotten such wonderful health benefits, and I wish you the best of luck.
JD – Yes, the Genesis was recently UL certified, just in the past month or so.
Kimmy – No problem
Pablo – I’m sorry that the hostility causes you to be unsettled, but if someone were to try to take $2000 more than they deserved from my family, I’d be pretty hostile. And that’s what happened.
I wish the ionizer industry had more transparency, and that’s what I’m working on here. In the next few weeks I plan to do some more posts about the actual benefits of the KYK Genesis, since a number of people have asked, as well as compare line-by-line why it’s better than another two competitors – one of which is the Tyent 7070. Look for it coming in the next month. Until then, do your research!
I work a full-time job, so I don’t have the time or the incentive to fly out and train you in how to use the machine. That’s not what this site is about.
However, it is quite easy to figure out! There are instructional videos on the KYK website that will teach you ALL you need to know, and they have an extremely helpful customer service phone number. To be honest, I feel that the machine is quite fool-proof. And I’m no genius.
Holly – I emailed Alderin about your question this morning, and apparently their financing options changed recently and the site isn’t updated yet. So he set me up with a new financing deal for people who are referred through my site:
I don’t know if everyone is automatically approved for financing, but if you use my ID then that should be the deal. This comes out to a total of $1795, whereas if you pay up-front it’s still at introductory discount of $1695. But for most people including myself, it’s easier to spread it out over time.
If there are any issues (there shouldn’t be), please email me: info[at]kangenscam[dot]com, and I’ll see what I can do.
Thanks for the good info. I am currently researching ionizers and Enagic has been calling me on and off for months. Its a bit unsettling to be “hounded” to make such an investment. KYK is sounding pretty good. I just want healthy water. What web sites do you recommend for further research? Thanks. Brynne
These days there are quite a few ionizers that are superior to kangen. Also the newer models are hands down better as far as options. Kangen’s options are outdated at best, although it does produce good alkalinity and orp, but again there are quite a few machines that out perform kangens numbers. With these new machines being produced with many more options…kangen is becoming the dinosaur of ionizers.
EXCELLENT DISCUSSION. THANKS EXPECIALLY WHEN SOME OF US ARE WATCHING OUR MONEY
Hi,
I appreciate reading all the comments and the KYK Genesis seems like a good h2o ionizer. But why not promote it on it’s own merit? All the fuss about the $4K cost on the Enagic is not so relevant because so many people are making decent money with it – why is that an issue? isn’t that better than having your job lost to china or India?
Those that don’t see value in the Enagic product will simply not buy it. Thanks.
Thanks for the advice. I attented a meeting in Hawaii while on vacation. The amount of the machine Kangen is expensive and no trail option and the worst thing is its a pyramid business. I dont like pyramid because who ever started will give all the commission. Its a scam.
Its amazing how hard this idiot had to work to find something that was negative about this product. The problem with the world is people like you that are such skeptics that they’ve got to fabricate lies to sway people (sheep BAH!). There are a lot of people benefiting from this product. Its too bad that this product doesn’t help heal brains like yours. ITS NOT A SCAM THIS WEBSITE IS A SCAM TO THE IGNORANCE OF PEOPLE. Don’t take his word for it research for yourselves people come on!

I appreciate the information you have shared! I was recently introduced to Kangen water and am so intrested in a unit, but can’t afford the 4k but would consider other machines. Thanks for sharing. My searching and reading up on will determine which machine will work best for our household. I don’t think that pyramids are scams, just not where I wish to donate my money….
Does KYK or Kangen remove any of the fluoride from tap water? Fluoride is the only toxin I am really concerned about.
I was not sure if I wanted to purchase the Kangen but reading about your parents success I am sold on it now. Thank you for the info.

I appreciate the efforts of the Admin and others herein.
As with all the info on the web your not sitting
across from anyone with ability to search their
eyes and body language.
Therefore you have to be dilligent and search a
lot before purchasing.
It certainly appears that Ionized water is better
for you and the info here is just part of what I will
use when I make my final purchase.

Hello,
I have a couple of questions but first I would like to say thank you for posting this information on the internet. It is very informative. My mother and I were both looking to get a machine but as previously discussed the price is extremely high and also both are credit scores are not really that great either. Although I would like to ask is that youre saying that the Kangen water and the KYK Genesis is the same thing? And both produces the exact same product except the KYK is cheaper? I gotta say sounds to good to true. Both waters produce the same validity and can give the same effect? Because I was looking to buy the machine from Enagic and youre saying that the only reason its extremely expensive is because of the way it is sold from customer to customer? And with the KYK youre just paying for the machine and thats it? I will take youre comments and answers into consideration. Thank you, youre help and response is greatly appreciated.
Why are people so ignorant, don’t make a comment about this website or the writings of the admin until you REALLY know what you are commenting about.
The admin is not stating that the science is a scam, he is saying the PRICE is a scam. If you don’t like the warning then move on and don’t input your 2 cents unless it has to do with what he is speaking about. Some people out there do believe that a higher price means better quality or a better overall product. No one is stating to go by this website alone, but this website does actually motivate people to do more research. That is what is wrong with this country, the trust in the manufacturers and company’s in what they sell us and believing their trying to actually “help” people instead of making money.
Aaliyah,
It is not the same exact machine, as one is made by Enagic™ and one is made by KYK. However, both machines are designed to achieve similar results and both have extremely satisfied customers. The reason for the giant markup in the Enagic™ machine is definitely because of the business model, and does not at all indicate that it is a higher quality product. I am absolutely convinced that the KYK machine works, because my family uses it on a daily basis and as I wrote above, we have had a fantastic experience with it.
Don’t waste your money buying from Enagic™ – as you can see from the comments here, most Enagic™ distributors can only defend against the claims of my website by saying that “there’s nothing wrong with making money”, or something along those lines – but I think there is, because people who aren’t interested in the business model and are just looking for the health benefits don’t want to spend over twice as much money!
Glad you learned something on the site. Here’s to your health.
Thanks for a timely advise, i save myself a lot of money.
Thank you for the heads up. I was looking to purchase a water ionizer and would’ve been furious to find out later I could have gotten another ionizer with the same benefits for a cheaper price. I don’t care how much money you have, who wants to spend more money if they don’t have to?
Tina
I hope this gets published. Since most here think that these PH machines are bad, I seriously differ. Most health problems today are due to high acid content in the body. As a result, various diseases bed in such an environment of the body, most especially cancer, the #1 killer. Our diet, particularly in the USA, is very high acidic; sugar in most of the products we eat each day (high Fructose in 85% of drinks, milk products, cereals, breads, etc), chlorine in the water, processed foods, high meat intake. All of these increase the acid level of the body, when sad to say, the body is already prone to acidity. A healthy intake of alkaline is excellent for the body’s balance to not only counter the acid level, but properly digest food, and eliminate fat in the blood and organs. I see no harm in introducing a good healthy amount of alkaline into the body.
Thanks for the informative website, I believe the water has merit, but I don’t know a lot of people who can shell out $4000.00 without hardship on the budget. I’m glad to see there are other options out there. The other machine is actually called a Levuluk (Spelling may be off, but that’s the MLM machine. My experience with MLM in my lifetime has been the top people get rich, and if you are a person with the phsycological make up to be a really pushy salesman you may also get rich, but if you are like me, you just pay too much for the machine, and deep down inside resent it.
Thanks for the info. I was not aware of KYK machine being almost half the price of the Enagic one. I’ve just started drinking the Kangen water and I’ve already notice a big improvement in my energy and overall well being. I really want to keep drinking the water for at least a month before I actually buy a machine. But now that I know that I can get a Genesis machine for about $1700. I think I might just do that.
Thanks for the great info and all the help.
Great information!! I was going to buy a machine from Enagic this week but will now look into more research. Thank you for your honesty & integrity!!
Amen! thanks for the info. i love the water but was totally discouraged because it’s just not possible for me to have a machine right now. thanks for encouraging all of us to break out of the “sheep” role and question the “way things are”.
Live Well!
I paid $4000 for a enagic ”kangen”machine and you can bet I’d do it again with the results I’ve got. I don’t care if I sell one or not and I know lots of people that have gotten the same results. It feels great to have all this energy and my old hurting knees feel sooooooo good. If its a scam ,it’s the best one I’ve come across.
I appreciate the advice given here. My parents have both been considering getting the Kangen machine and the only way they can afford it is by taking money out of their 401K. We as their children are slightly concerned with them taking this much money out of their retirement for something that SOUNDED “weird” to us (we had never heard of ionized water machines). This site has made me more interested in the ionized water IDEA –AND has shown me their might be more affordable ways for my parents to get it! I have fallen scam to the pyramid scheme both as a CUSTOMER and even a sales person (ugh) and I can say I would not be one bit surprised if what you’re saying about why the kangen machine is so pricey is the truth! I appreciate your efforts to get this message out there, with the economy the way it is right now I am always looking for a way to save money. If this is something my parents think they ABSOLUTELY need I would like to be able to tell them there might be more affordable ways to get one. THANKS!
Great comments. Friends from OR. were convinced on this water system and I know they don’t research the web that much. Nevertheless, it will be good info to counter their reaction to the MLM water system and for me to tell them the price difference. God knows a lower price should sell them pretty easily. This info you have put together has taken some time, thanks for your time and efforts to help your parents. Now we can help others the same. God bless. ~~Louisville KY
I gotta go to bat for this guy, I think he’s doing what most of us would do in his situation, so Cheers! When I find a good product I tell everyone I know, whether I benefit financially or not. When I believe the product will change someones life, my enthusiasm jumps a notch. When I know there’s a similar product trying to sucker people out of their hard earned money it makes me sick and then my enthusiasm for the competition goes through the roof. IMHO – it’s no different here. So again, Cheers!
– BTW, if you feel like you’re being ripped off when you buy office software from Microsoft, you are. Take a look at openoffice.org if you ever lose your MS office install discs.
You present yourself to be a company for the people by judging Enagic for the way they market their products. Do you also criticize Best Buy for marking up their prices to pay for rent, advertising, sales staff, display unit, etc? Can you explain to the difference between MLM and the referral commissions KYK offers with their Affiliate and Dealer Programs? Isn’t that calling the kettle black?
Thanks for the great information! Now for my RANT! All you MLM’rs are rediculous! You are brainwashed into believing your product is better than anyone else’s. Don’t get angry because someone speaks TRUTH. Read the data presented and you will quickly realize your product is actually inferior for twice the price! Figure out a way to make an honest buck instead of ripping people off and wasting your life away on webinars, phone conference calls and all the rest of the MLM hype. 95% of you will not succeed in this business. Not because you are incapable, but because the programs aren’t designed to help you succeed. Only the people at the top can really earn! That’s why so many sucessful people in the MLM business are always switching companies for a new and better widget. The science is wonderful and the benefits are incredible for $1695 not $3995!!!!! Get a life people! Those are my thoughts for what they are worth
I haven’t seen an answer to the question about Fluoride. Do any of the ionized water machines remove Fluoride from the water? If not, how do you remove it?
Kangen says that they sell an external water filter which attaches to their unit (for an additional $100.) which removes some of it, but not all of it. Does KYK have anything comparable?
I work in a industry that touches on both of these area’s. First 100% commission sales or MLM ALWAYS boosts end product cost to the end user, it is capitalism at both it’s best and worst, best for the salesperson, worst for the buyer. Secondly ionization really does work in water, air, oil, and fuel. The technology works, of that there is no doubt, but how much we pay for it in a repressed economy where money is tight must be a variable. So thank you for this information.
CORRECTION! I was misinformed. Kangen does NOT sell an external filter for fluoride. They recommend using one for fluoride, but they do not know what external filter, when attached to their unit, will filter the fluoride. That’s a real bummer!
Positive Comment:
I have read the information provided about the alternative to Kangen. The information is much appreciated. I have been drinking the water on a trial basis offered through my holistic doctor’s office in Conyers, Ga. In just TWO days, I can notice the difference with my digestion and transit time. It’s unbelievable-I am almost in denial that something so simple can work so great.
I VERY much appreciate the information presented about the additional 2000$ mark up. I wish the respondents who are so upset about your presenting this information would see it from the point of view that everyone, EVERYONE deserves the benefits of good health. As a society of people who are learning about alternative, holistic approaches and internal cleansing (basically getting back to what we forgot as civilization has become so advanced), we are at a disadvantage because it almost seems like only the wealthy can afford options to reverse some of the ill effects of toxins.
Mark up is fine – I’m not a “hater”, but is 2000$ really not just a bit obsurd? Again, everyone deserves the benefits of good health and the option to correct what has been done through lack of education. People like us who have come to learn about these devices and holistic approaches, etc. we want to share these with everyone we know because we want to offer others good quality of life for the time they are here on earth. I felt like you were simply trying to get the word out that there are other, financial feasible options. I now know that I can actually get one of these devices in my home. The Kangen price had me feeling like I would just not be possible anytime soon. THANK YOU!
I too am STILL waiting on an answer about EXACTLY what (FLOURIDE? WHAT ELSE???) gets flitered out.
Thanks for the info! It is helpful. If you don’t know the answer, then please refer those of us with this question to someone who does. It’s quite important. The best water system is going to combine ionization with a powerful filter. I know the Kangen folks have told me that their machine does not filter out everything that my current filter does. The company who can come up with a system that does BOTH with flying colors is the one for me.
I think you just saved me a ton of money. I had a feeling it was a pyramid scheme but wanted to know for sure. I’m stoked you made this site. Thanks. Once I had the water, I wanted it. One funny thing I noticed is after drinking the water for a few days out of town, I went out drinking each night and I was never hungover the next day. My buddy said it’s because of the water and it made total sense. I haven’t had the water in a week and I miss it greatly.
I’m soooooo tired of my neighbors soliciting this damn kangen “holy water” to everyone in my neighborhood. I am a Christian, but cannot help but calling it “Holy Water”. That’s how my very odd, weird neighbors are acting about it. They say they are Christians, yet they really put this water up with “God”. That sickens me. They just push it and push it and push it on you. They do NOT let up. It’s absolutely ridiculous. If you really care about other’s health, you will care about their health and the profit will be just an added “bonus”. So I stay away from anyone who is just trying to make a sick profit off of sick people. Just like everyone is saying, I believe it is healthy, but the price is absurd. I will definitely do my research to find the same exact “concept”, but will go about it a MUCH cheaper way. Kangen equals good water, but also equals “rip off”.
Both my brother and sister are selling the Enagic units and have been supplying me with the water. I am very satisfied with the results but have been very reluctant to invest my time in selling these machines and the money it cost to purchase one. After recently having dinner at my sisters home, she presented me with the 8-point commission structure and RED FLAGS went up immediately. I have previously, to my own embarrasment, been involved in “Multi-Level Marketing” schemes. Better known as “Pyramid Sales”. I believe that it is fair to make an honest profit for ones time and work, BUT it sickens me when a company like Kangen, who has a good product, sets up their marketing scheme to RIP OFF the American Public!!! You will NEVER see one of their machines in my home for that reason alone. I am thankful to you for letting the public know that there is an alternative that produces the same quality machine at a price that is reasonable and fair. Shame on you Kangen Water ! We are currently in an economic crisis and you are trying to rip the U.S. Public off.
Alisa, you don’t happen to live in Texas do you? Your story sounds like mine. I think we share the same neighbors. My neighbors call it “holy water” too and won’t stop talking about it. I try to avoid them now. The sad thing is it is consuming their lives because they are now so busy trying to earn a living off of it.
