KYK Genesis vs Tyent 7070 vs Jupiter Melody Comparison
This past week, I got an email in my inbox with the title “KYK Genesis Beats Tyent 7070″ … now, this was no surprise to me, as my last post on here clearly stated that I firmly believe the Genesis to be the best ionizer on the market. Without a doubt.
Well, with that email came some pretty darn conclusive evidence that the KYK Genesis is top dog. If you click that link, you’ll see that the good folks at WaterForLifeUSA ran a side-by-side test of the KYK Genesis, the Tyent 7070, and the Jupiter Melody to see which produced the best results and had the most effective ionization process.
It’s a great video – nothing new to me, since I use the thing on a daily basis, but I think it’s about time we had some real video evidence online instead of just a bunch of numbers in tables that can get awfully confusing. So there you have it – congrats to the people at WaterForLifeUSA for their victory!

We had a representative from Enagic (Kangen) come over and give us a demonstration of there 501 Ionizer. We were impressed, of course we knew nothing about water ionizers. So my daughter and I since Wed. have been on the web trying to find out if an ionizer really works or is the whole idea a scam. We recieved some water for drinking to try the ph9.5 water. We haven’t found any large changes except in the bowles and for some reason it has a fishy taste to me. We are trying to find out wverything we can on water ionizers. Other than people trying to sell on there own we can not find a place to go. I know there is Water for Life in Germantown, MD. Too far away for us. They also represent only one brand of inonizer.
I know I like the price better on all of the others brands than the Kangen 501. I have always stirred away from pyramid buying.
My husband has Parkinson’s and we were told this story that a man with Parkinson’s after drinking the Kangen water could walk with out using a scooter and his hands didn’t shake.
I have a Defibrullator for my heart and do not know if this kind of water will help.
If you could be of any help I would be so pleased.
Thank You,
Eileen Garver
Hi Eileen,
I’m glad you’re taking the time to do some research and not getting drawn into the Enagic sales process.
I can’t make any promises as to how the water will work for you or your husband. There are many people out there who have reported experienced amazing health benefits after drinking alkaline water, as you’ve heard already, but that’s all I can say.
If you’re unsure what you want to do, you could experiment with a trial run. You can order a Genesis on financing, so you won’t have to put down very much money at first. Since the trial period is 60 days, you and your husband could use the machine for most of that time and watch for results. If you do see improvements and feel like you want to keep the machine, then you can continue on the financing plan. If you don’t see any results or just don’t think it’s worth the money, you can send it back at any time before the 60 days are up and get a refund. I believe there is a small restocking fee, but that’s it.
If you go through with that idea, please write back and let me know how it goes! Good luck, and I really wish you two the best of health in the future.
“Conclusive Evidence” link above is broke.
Just doing the research myself and while the Genesis is looking good it’s not a fair comparison against the Melody as that’s not the top of their line product, the Orion & Aquarius units were until they just release the Athena unit. Though since they still only have 5 plates I’m guessing, haven’t seen the stats yet, that Genesis is still going to out perform it.
In reality, which filter out performs the other really isn’t the issue, is it? How often are we going to be using the extremes of the pH scale? Shouldn’t be drinking above 9.5 pH anyway so who cares if a system can produce 10.8 vs 11.2 or whatever the top number is…
As long as it consistently puts out pH 9.5 and an ORP between -200 and -300 that’s all that is really needed to experience the benefits of Alkaline Water based on the research I’ve done so far.
Couldn’t agree with you more though about warning people that spending $4K on something they can get for 1/2 that AND is a superior product. Keep up spreading the good news!
RPS,
Thanks for pointing out the broken link! Fixed now.
It is true that the melody is no longer Jupiter’s top unit, however since the Athena is over $400 more than the Genesis and, as you said, still only has 5 plates I agree that the Genesis is clearly the smarter option.
Thanks for the kind words.
